FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1)    How do I know if there are any spots still available in each camp session?

A: Only the sessions with spaces remaining will appear on registration page.  If you are able to register, then there are still spaces available.

2)  Inclement weather during the summer tennis camp?

A: In the event of inclement weather, our camp may go indoors during the weather event.  In addition, there could be times adjusted to allow our sessions to happen.     

3)    Will water be available during camp?

A: Yes, water will be on courts at all times.  Campers should bring their own water bottle with their name printed on it.

4)    Is Lunch provided for the Summer Camp? 

A:  Please bring your own lunch each day or money to buy lunch at one of the on-campus restaurants (Chik-Fil-A, Subway, Einstein Bagels)  The Coaching staff will walk with all of the campers to the on-campus lunch dining area.  Friday, we will provide free pizza for everyone. 
For the overnight camp, all meals are provided at our on-campus dining halls (included in the price of the overnight camp).

5)    Where will the students stay during the overnight camp?

A:   Overnight students will stay in the on-campus UNCW residential halls.  Camp coaches will supervise the residential halls at all times.  

6)    How are the groups organized?

A:  Each camp session will organize our students/groups based on age and ability level. 

7)  Does the coaching staff receive background checks?

A:  Yes.  Each of our coaches receives a background check.
